Meet the Team
Colin Davison BSc ACA CertBA
Colin began his ambition to become an accountant way back when he was just 13. Running a number of small businesses of his own from school age, he began work at Grant Thornton and continued to work with them whilst studying at college.
In 1997 and as a Chartered Accountant finalist Colin ventured into a number of companies of varying sizes, from 'businesses dot com' to 'IBM'. His main focus was serving larger businesses and support as a commercial director for a number of smaller businesses including a motor retailer and many and smaller family based business.
Cranleys Consulting Limited was formed in 1998 and Colin continued to assist many small companies in their business plans, personal taxes as well as corporate finances.
Colin worked closely with IT companies, supporting them through recession period of 2000 and supporting property businesses in 2008 during the period of the credit crunch.
Being a property investor, consultant and contractor, Colin specialises in looking after professional services and property investors.
Tom McKellar

Heather Bull
After studying Advertising and Marketing Communications at Bournemouth University, Heather graduated in July 2010. Heather joined the Cranleys team in December 2011 to take on the role as Business Development Manager. Within this role Heather is the key contact for any Marketing related queries as she will not only provide support to Cranleys, but also to Franchisee’s. With a keen interest in being able to help people, Heather is the person to talk to if you have any queries.
Technical Support Team
Tim Glover
Tim studied Accounting and Business at Portsmouth University, and graduated in July 2011. As accounts supervisor Tim supports Colin in overseeing team members as well as preparing final accounts, and providing general advisory and account support. He is currently studying to become ACA accredited. With a diverse knowledge in all areas including payroll, VAT returns and personal tax, Tim is able to provide accurate and insightful advice.
Elliot Hobden
After joining Cranleys in July 2011, Elliot’s thirst for the accounting world has seen him progress vastly, and he is currently working towards becoming AAT accredited. Helping to deal with client accounts, bookkeeping, payroll, VAT and personal tax, his wealth of knowledge is ever growing.
Ben Cranwell
With a keen interest in the accounting industry Ben joined the Cranleys Team in November 2011 to commence his career. As a trainee accountant Ben helps to handle the day to day management of client accounts and is always happy to help.
